Nevada Wellness Centers is the first and only 100% Black-owned dispensary in Nevada. Frank Hawkins entered cannabis the same way he entered housing and construction — ownership rooted in the community it serves, rather than outside capital looking for a quick return.
The operation has grown into a vertically integrated business spanning retail, licensed cultivation, and processing. It also runs community outreach and education programs on responsible use, patient access, and building careers in the legal cannabis industry for people from the neighborhoods where Frank has spent his entire working life.
